William Faull purchased a lot from Abel Uglow and built this single-story brick building as a smaller version of his Main Street store. (His two-story brick building is located at 811 Main Street.) The building was accessible to his main store by a back alley, and it was used as a farm implement business selling tools, wagons, and buggies. The Faull Annex matches the adjoining Uglow Annex in scale and was built at the same time, but it has a simpler, more utilitarian style befitting a farm store.
The floor plan had a single entrance and one exit through a tin shop in the back. A partition separated the tin shop in back and the retail space in front. The exterior is clad with stucco.
Mr. Faull sold this building to the Craven brothers at the same time he sold them his Main Street property. By 1913 the Cravens were selling wagons and harnesses and were dealers for John Deer Auto Buggies.
By 1939 the building was an express office. In 1959 it was a florist. At one time it was a Coast-To-Coast store, the signage is still affixed to the west exterior wall. In 1990 it was The Side Pocket pool hall, followed by the Pirate’s Cove Arcade. Eventually it became Foster’s Furniture and is now the home of Parkside Self Defense.
